About Me

Hey There,
I’m Jeani

Here’s a short history about me to help you understand that if I can do this, then you can too.

  1. I am a MOTHER OF “6”, Grandmother of 5.
  2. I have BEEN DIVORCED, more than once.
  3. I have LOST 2 SONS. One at birth, as a still born and an ADULT SON, AGE 26 to suicide….. “EXACTLY !!!”
  4. I FAILED at being a business owner, more than once.
  5. I WAS ALONE !!! I had estranged myself from my family and friends after my oldest son passed.
  6. etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I can truly go on and on……….But I will spare you, for now.

You see, I have had every excuse in the book to fall back on. I could have given up, given in, not try anything at all and no

body would have expected anything more of me, ever!

My first inspiration came in early 2016, I was 49 years old. I saw a Youtube video of Ernestine Shepard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpBo2dl3PBc she was 55 years old when she first started exercising with her sister but didn’t start training competitively till age 71. Now, at 84 years old, she no longer competes but is still out there training and inspiring others. I dare you to try to top that!!!

SO,,,,,,,,,

If your one of those people who have new excuses shoved in their pocket, you can STOP HERE!

I’m by far NOT insensitive. I personally know the struggles ARE real! I am also “NOT” about excuses.

“There are times and places for everything but not everything has to be ALL the time at EVERY place”.

I know it’s hard. Your not alone. I am here to “help” pull you up by your waist band to keep you on your feet.

Now, Lets pull up our Grannie Panties and push forward, shall we?

So with that said, if your still reading, lets move forward.

What Exactly Are The “3D’s” ?

Ugh You Say?

As a Mother of 6, over weight, with heart defects, I felt this way too. Especially after being dragged out of a lake because my heart was pumping fluids into my lungs. That’s when I learned I have a Left Bundle Block Branch as well as a Mitral Valve Prolapse. I felt like my physical life was over. I then saw another inspirational video of a pregnant woman who documented her goal to be on stage in a bikini competition only 10 months after giving birth. I followed her journey and cried when I saw her get on stage after all she went through to get there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkMJdytTSXU. Trust me, the motivation was seeing how heavy she was in comparison to my frame at the time. I thought that if she could do that in 10 months then what could I do? I recall asking my kids if 49 was too old to start training to compete in a body Building Competition, since I was limited on fast paced sports. They were all supportive for me “to do so” as Patrick said it. It wasn’t long after that, that I lost my son. That’s when the real challenges hit me.

I had to fight myself and my “self talk”.
